Current Accounts

"Better Banking with your Credit Union"

Our new Current Account is now available to all members.

Perhaps you don’t have a bank account. Perhaps you’ve been hit with high charges in the past. Perhaps you’d just prefer to bank where you matter more than how much money you’ve got.

If so our Current Account could be for you.

Unlike most high street banks we charge a flat weekly fee of £1.20 which pays for the costs of running the account. We then don’t have to make potentially crippling charges of £35 or more if something goes wrong.

No dividend is payable on Current Accounts, so if you want to save you will almost certainly be better off using one of our Saving Accounts.

You need to be a BCU member to apply for the Current Account. If you’re not already a member then click here to find information about joining.
